Bells Beach Brewery to serve up local hits

An Afterglow party doesn't glow without a little moonshine. So we are super chuffed to announce that local hops master, Bells Beach Brewery, will be serving up a bunch of tasty (legal) brews at event HQ on 23 November .

It’s a perfect partnership, with Bells Beach Brewery serving up classics such as the Point Addis Pale Ale (a homage to the eponymous Point that serves as the starting line for the 21km distance), and the Southside Saison (homage to the starting line of the 13km) . We’re twisting their arm and hoping they rock a stout there on the night, too (a race Director is not a camel).

What they will be serving from is almost as exciting. By coincidence, as we hooked up with the lads at the brew house (22 Baines Cres. Torquay), they were deep in discussions about the old silver 80s style caravan parked out the front - one they will be restoring to be an 80’s sleek tap house on the move. So it will be found at the event HQ, rocking the real ales come event day. Who knows, we might even convince their bar staff to rock a unicorn outfit to truly get in the vibe.

We welcome the Bells beach Brewery crew to the tribe. And the madness. We reckon they will embrace it. Meanwhile, embrace them and their awesome beer, approved by Association of Unicorn Ale Addicts:
